I’m looking for a medicine chest.?

I am remodeling an old bathroom and have black and white tile on the floor, and bought a vanity base with a black bowl and black granite countertop. The base is black with gold edging and has a large painted sailboat on the front of the cabinet. Any ideas on where to find a medicine chest that will look good with that?

I agree with the anser above that you could replace the medicine chest with a framed mirror if you have ample storage in the vanity for items you would need to place in the chest. Remember, these originated in an era when pedestal sinks were in used, making the medicine chest a multifunctional requirement in the bathroom. Recently I was in Walmart and they had a very large round black-framed mirror that sound as tho it would be perfect for your space. You could even take gold leaf and highlight the relief design in the frame to match the gold edging on you vanity base. Sounds gorgeous. A sailboat? That in itself would be a unique feature.
