Quartz Countertop Images

My brother stained my mom’s quartz/granite kitchen countertop! Please help!?

You can see the image above. I feel so bad for my mom. Her countertop looks ruined. It’s honed finished Caesarstone (quartz). My brother put a hot teapot on it and left it there. It made a perfect circle on the countertop that looks like it lightened the finish. We just can’t tell if its an overlay over the countertop, or it actually took away something from the countertop.

Help! Any ideas? Any experts out there? Can we polish the surface with anything? Buff it? Stain it?

Any responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much!

I think that it may need to be polished and buffed again. I do know that the stone did not come with a gloss finish naturally.
